sorta scouted by Deidzoeb on 27 JAN 2003:

Check out discussion on F84877?thread=242200 for a bunch of entries by Analiese. I haven't read them all to see if they're all CAC material, but "The Flicker" and "How Analiese and Uncle Ned Met" were really good.

A279236 by U104826 (scout=Deidzoeb)

Intro: Everybody knows that the guys in the red shirts were the expendable ones on the original Star Trek series. In this entry, Demon Drawer attempts a shirt-color-coordinated body count from each episode of the series. Sadly the piece is not finished, and seems to show, contrary to conventional wisdom, that red shirts are the ones killed least often in the 13 episodes noted so far!
A717635 by U191449 (scout=Deidzoeb, 1 vote against)

Intro: Admitting "we don't really know what the psychic gnome really is or how his brain ticks," this entry proceeds to describe possible origins of the psychic gnome, how to identify them, how to trap them, and what to do with them after trapping them.

Added 26 March
A148619 (scout=tonsil revenge)
A636996 (scout=frogbit)
A503597 (scout=Zaphod OED)

INTRO: "Forget magical mystery tours, wild overlanders, passages to india or the gripping adventures of clippie Cliff in the film 'Summer Holiday' - Hold onto your seats, take a deep breath and experience the not-to-be-missed commute on the treacherous Clapham express."

Added/Nominated between 17 and 19 March
A221202 (first nomination by Zaphod! Yay!!! smiley - )
A421426 (scout=tonsil revenge)

"Intro:For those who have not had the joy, here is a small program to let you in on some of the comforts and

envrironmental curiosities of owning a large dog. Pay heed. Very little of this is in jest."
A147467 (scout=tonsil revenge)

We each have our favorite colors. Some of us do not know why and others are aware of the associative reasons

for their choices. This writer has a whole page of associations. What more can I do than shut up and let him tell

you about it?

A509087 (scout=tonsil revenge)
A705520 (scout=tonsil revenge) Spring themed?

Intro: "Rhyme has a place in the scheme of things. If you find it, please tell me, as I've been having trouble parking

mine. This collection of syllables rhymes. Bearably so. I guess that is the best we can expect.
It also tells an intelligible story. Which is not to be opposed with terrible, which it is, in a way."
A659324 (scout=tonsil revenge)

Updated through AGG/GAG #42 and through CAC 19 DEC 2002. To see all entries that have appeared in AGG/GAG's Post column to date, browse through AGGGAG-Archives and follow up with A856938.

There's a fly in my scoop!

jwf suggested that we call it "Waiters" or something odd to prevent people easily finding sneak previews of future AGG/GAG columns. This page is now officially the A number 1 place to shout your nominations, as far as you know. I'll try to scour the other discussion threads for nominations, but don't expect miracles. Post a message below and I'll add it later.

Thanks,
