Still alive. Sorry I haven't come around much. Would it help AGG/GAG if I try to come up with a few more of those theme issues to be used on some rainy day?

Glad to see you're still alive and kicking.
Hate to be a nag, but I have been a committee-of-one for a couple of weeks and while (as you well know) I love to act unilaterally, I am worried that our readership will tire of my singular perspective. I have half-jokingly labelled a couple of our later and less acticve members as AWOL in our latest member's list (#27).
Any pages created by our original members would be greatly appreciated. That way I won't go into 'panic' mode every Tuesday. Don't worry about 'themes' too much. Do your own thing! Take a look at '27' which I started and finished today. There is no common theme just a half-baked narrative thread running thru my intros.
More importantly, several items on the waitress page have now been used and should be de-listed, just in case anyone else is building a page and looking for fresh materials.
Hope all is well with you and yours and that summer spreads into your world. Getting some rain there these days are you? Or is that mostly west of you?
peace

I'll try to clean up the nominations page a little later, after work.
What's this "Retro Link" thread? I know that some other websites like "memepool" and a weblog/column by a sci-fi author gave a link to my article "Furniture Whores and Debit Card Toilets." Is that what you mean?
If you can give a link to this "Retro Link" thread, or some alternate driving instructions to get there, I'd appreciate it. I looked all over the Agg/Gag page, even the list of past AggGag conversations, but couldn't find it.
I think it's been raining here today, but I'm in a cubicle in a windowless room, so I haven't seen more than a glimpse of the outside (while walking the hallways) in several hours.
I love how you always work something into AggGag reminding people to get outside, get away from the computer once in a while and enjoy Nature. Not that I follow your advice, but maybe the message will get through to me if you keep reminding everyone.
Later,
Deidzoeb

Never mind, I found it. Yep, I can name-drop a little bit now, although I suspect this only means that Bruce Sterling reads Memepool. How anyone on memepool ran across the article is the big mystery.

Our Savior Jimi didn't show me how to find the link. I found it myself.
Oh, you mean that OTHER "lord."
