"Do you lot ever stop partying?" - Abi

Hello, , welcome to the page of the SRG! As you might expect, this is a list of Scottish researchers*. The idea is to make it a bit easier to organise meetups (see this page for a list of past meets) and, of course, slag each other off for coming from the wrong side of the country. If you want to be included feel free to post below.

If you are looking for other regional researcher groups, try the list in the Post - there are more added all the time. If there is no group for your neck of the woods, why not start one? I did...

Apart from the meetups we organise* there tend to be quite a few other community events happening at any one time, especially in the summer months. One good place to see what is coming up is here, and it is also a good idea to keep an eye on the Post Announcements page.

Quite a few of us have been blobbed at some point or other. There is a collection of the pictures here (N.B. this page has a lot of images, and will take ages to download on a modem link).

Any other suggestions as to what should go on this page are welcome*

Och aye the noo, like.

N.B. To be notified when new conversations appear go down to the bottom of the page and subscribe to the page. Then I'd suggest that if anyone wants to advertise a meetup or whatever (or are just proposing one), they start a new conversation.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
