My Life - encapsulated in three paragraphs
I was born at an early age, and started to grow up! (almost!) Nothing really interesting happened for the next eighteen years. (apart from having a severe stutter and attending speech therapy for those years and into later life)
Eighteen days after my eighteenth birthday, I took The Queen's Shilling and enlisted on the roll. I then spent the next twelve years serving my Country and Monarch. I enjoyed my "time in", (good, bad and plain hellish times) learning the trade of Army Aircraft Technician (mostly rotatory-wing (Helicopters) but with a few fixed-wing types (Aeroplanes). Touring the World and having a good time.
Since my "demob" I've worked in a variety of jobs, most currently as an operator of a "Lorry-loader" equipped vehicle, you know, those HGV's with a crane on them! My other interests are :- computing (obvious), reading (mostly Science -Fiction), The Goons radio show (hence my wierd sense of humour!) and old military songs (the smutty, filthy and obscene unofficial ones).
