  • The Manchester Marrow Meet

The Science of Star Trek Exhibition is on at the Manchester Museum of Science and Technology. Your Committee thought it may be of interest to some members!! (Non-members will be very welcome and will qualify for membership of the FCAMSASC). The cost will depend on the number attending, but concessions are available so don't forget your student card/bus pass/little piece of plastic that never really gets you into anywhere free.

Anyone interested in going to a Manchester Marrow Meet, then look no further. Have your say on when the meet should be held here. The date's under consideration are 24th August, 31st August or the 21st September.

  • Alton Towers Meet 2002

After the success of the first Alton Towers meet in 2001, another bigger, better meet-up is being planned for 2002. As per last year, this will be a weekend-long meet, with accomodation in the form of camping/caravans, at The Star campsite near Alton Towers. The meet is to be held on the weekend of 13th/14th/15th September, find out more at the Alton Towers Meet 2002 page

  • Scottish Researchers Group

Another meeting in Scotland is being planned for sometime in October by the Scottish Researchers Group. To find out more visit this conversation or have a word with Jamie.

  • Central US Researchers Group

The planning is in the early stages, and only a possible venue has been decided, in Chicago. If you live around the Central US area and would like to know more details, then check out this conversation on the Central US Researchers Group homepage.
