Who we are
The h2g2 SAS (recently known as SATS) is a society and is the campaign title for the researchers against the holding of smileys back by which it is known close and far on the guide with prominent members of the ACEs Gurus and Scouts (no Subs to my knowledge) as well as other valued members of the community.
What is a SmileySmilyes Or Emoticons are little pictures that you can put in your text to express your feelings or to visually assist a point. look there's one now!! >

Why we are Campaigning
The new set of smileys are GREAT! but unfortunately there has been a some major oversights i.e.
suggestions welcome
So Voice Your Complaints Below. Meet other smiley deprived researchers, and join in the competition for the United Researchers song! or Join the competition for the best anecdote/joke/story involving as many towels or other smiley graphics in the guide as possible! don't just sit or stand or what ever, join in!How (and why) to Join

The best Anecdote/story/joke competition is judged every two months (next judging is end of May) Winners will receive a with runners up receiving gifts.
Every few mounths a judging PARTY! Is held where the drink and food is about as good as the conversation the date and time of the party start will be decided nearer the time and published below!
How to Join:
Simply post using the box below leaving the Join me up there so I can spot you. The forum it posts to is the Membership forum below which is one of the busiest forums here please don't worry if you don't get added to the list at the bottom for at least a week as my ISP is a bit dodgy at the mo. The membership thread is now reserved for membership business and a new forum for Chat between members Non-Members and any one else has now been started it is entitled SATS Chat (1) .
