*Has been very taciturn due to listening, watching - and especially slowly but surely tasting almost all the goodies supplied by Wolfgang and brought by different guests*
The quiz was a really good idea, Leo, and interesting questions. Actually I don't know what colour my toothbrush is. I'll let suspense hang till tonight .
*Eyes prawns.*
They look delicious and I seem to have room for a few.

Psst, tartaronne, pass some prawns this way, will you?

What's cream tea? Sounds yummy ....
Do you think 60 kgs of prawns will be enough?
Try them with a smidgin of balsalmic vinegar and some of this homemade mayonnaise ...

It suddenly occurred to me that I didn't get a cream tea. Is there any clotted cream and rose petal jam left, Elentari? To go on a rose water scone?
Prawns? tartaronne, I feel quite decadent having prawns for breakfast. And one of the apple Danish, I think.
I think there is still enough food and beverages about to leave things out for a few more hours. Just so late comers have a chance to drop by. Hi Feisor.

There aren't any real butterflies in these butterfly cakes, I hope. I accidentally ate a butterfly once.

A cream tea is a scone with jam and clotted cream, served with a cup of tea.
I first came across them in Cornwall -- they're very popular there. =D

Cream tea. I never got to have it when I was in Cornwall. Must try it now. Would you, Elentari?

Ooooh yes please on the cream tea - clotted cream and rose petal jam sounds sooooo civilised (almost too civilised for hootoo)

Hi Niwt. Hope you're hungry.
Looks at her watch. A President's work is never done, it seems. Afraid I'm off again for a bit. When I come back I want to try the rock cakes.
And the crab triangles.

Good morning, Madam President. Good morning, Everyone.
Oooh, prawns for breakfast, yummy! Thanks Feisor. I brought a piece of Humboldt Fog.
(Arranges thick wedge of Humboldt Fog cheese on a plate with some crackers.)

Hm. Derek chained to the desk while Natalie occasionally feeds him on tea. Or Derek sitting in a big executive chair with his feet up while Natalie rushes about serving him tea.
How's that for corporate intrigue. And right here on h2g2. Gosh - we've got it all!
Tartaronne: I don't either know what color my toothbrush is. I suspect green, though. It's like Sherlock Holmes says: we just don't notice the little things. Quick: what pattern hubcaps have you got on your car?
Anyone else want to take the quiz?
*helps herself to some leftover cream and strawberries*
mmm. Brunch. I'll be back for a mid-morning snack in a jot.

2. If you had to choose between an all-paid vacation to Oz or an hour with your favourite politician, which would you take?
Is that one of those 'Second prize is Two hours with your favorite politician' kind of questions?
5. If you could go back in time, which period would you choose?
Yesterday always yesterday.
No wait, I wonder if you go back far enough do you come back around to now? In that case I'd do that, plus one day.
May I have some more tea?

Leo Posted Aug 30, 2007
Why yesterday? That's old stuff. Today is when it's happening.
Ooh. Must be elevated sugar consumption. Pass something proteiny, please, so we can get back to proper cynicism.

My toothbrush is red (and made of recycled plastic)
I don't have any idea what the wheels on my car look like, but I do know what Mr B's look like. Well, maybe I vaguely know what my wheels look like. Sort of.
