Tea Party for the Italic(s) on the Lawn
U168592 Started conversation Aug 21, 2007
The Tea Party date and time is Official!
The lawn at Alabaster House will be open from 0800am (ish) Wednesday 29th August, 2007 GMT/BST (Greenwich Mean Time/British Standard Time), for general setting up of tables, eyeing off hats, and brewing the tea for the Italic(s) to hopefully arrive by horse-drawn fish bowl at 1000am (or around about then.)
See you there!

That will make it a decent 0900 in Denmark
I've only read about tea parties and seen them on films. Any dress code?
*Is secretely happy that Leo will bring well brewed coffee, as she normally only drinks tea when sick*
I will hover in the background untill I figure out what is expected from me. I'm good at lifting and shifting though.

Excellent Well organised (so far) Matt
Do we know whether or not the Special Guest/s is/are attending? If not, can we still have a party please?

ah, how could we ever accuse you of being unfashionable Nat?
Master B goes on and on about your dress...
Oh, and as far as I know they'll be at least one or two of the slanty people about...
If not, I'll dress up and make an appropriate "assie"* of myself
*see another thread, pailaways accused me of being one...

You ARE wearing a dress? And a suitable hat I hope?
Proper etiquette you know, dash it all. Can't have this knees up going all to pot can we?

I shall wear two hats, mating it possible to loan one to Nat if the occassion arises.
Thanks for all your hard work on this, Frood.
I shall gather a crew (so far Leo has offered to help) and we will set everything up on Tuesday. It will be ready in time for the festivities.

Ahem.....there will be no mating with hats at any Alabaster House tea parties. (I'm a hillbilly, but that's too kinky even for Cousin Clem.) ......making it possible to loan a hat to Nat......
