It's the way the rim of a bone china cup feels when you sip from it that I like. Mugs are so thick. They do keep your coffee or tea warmer, though.

I was told that it costs $75 for a champagne tea at the Ritz. So I decided we copuld improve our image by having an A;labaster HOuse champagne tea.
Now, do we pour the champagne in the teapot before we add the tea or after?

"Lady C finally re-awakens and joins the party wearing her peach colored silk frock with matching pumps, and a hat. She even donned hose in deference to Madame President's preference for wearing them with heels."
Good afternoon everyone--or morning as the case may be. I will get my own tea, if someone will just tell me where the Jasmine tea is located.
Madame Prez, you are looking tres chic today.

I would love to give quizzes, but unexpected guests have called me out to show them our lovely city. Of course, I'd rather be here. But duty beckons.

Wolfgang has really outdone himself in the food dept. today. Ummm, Raspberry Madelaines.
Sorry, this hillbilly creature can't help drooling, but I did not slosh my tea and I used a saucer under my mug.

Hi Lady C. You are looking pretty foxy, yourself.
Wolfgang does a good job on fancy stuff, especially considering he specializes in barbecue.

In the workplace I try and cultivate a philosophical approach to the whole concept of 'work' and also to be creative in the way I interpret any preconceived notion of what a 'working day' might actually constitute.
>>>5. If you could go back in time, which period would you choose?
I've no interest in time travel, I'm quite happy where I am. Arcadia exists in the mind.

Individual and corporate greed.

Too hot.

*despite expectations of weblessness, Amy arrives draped in, if it were unwrapped, would prove to be an almost weightless violet-patterned silk scarf (hey, you try coming up with fancy dress for a woman-sized paper doll that doesn't involve giant folding tabs) and bearing a large basket entwined with matching ribbons, full to overflowing with mufflewhumps*
*sees 2legs*
*sets basket at end of buffet*
*goes over to 2legs' table*
Ahem, your majesty? May I remind you* that this is the Alabaster House lawn, not the Royal Dining Room? Please come down?
*Royal Reminderer of King 2legs' Court, so most likely yes
