That depends, if you ask me. If this is pre-"The Hobbit" then he would probably find it rude. But if it's post-"The Hobbit", I doubt that he'll mind in the least if a bunch of people just show up on his doorstep.

But that's just my opinion.

Well, lets take a gamble...you know........I have a sneeking suspistion that this is post Hobbit....JJ lets see if we can't give him a ring eh?

He probably doesn't want any more rings, just now, but we could give him something else.
