Bilbo: *looks at a clock on the wall* Oh wow. It's time for elevensies! Anyone else still hungry...?

Gandalf: Bilbo, I think we ought to tell them what they're going to be doing.

Bilbo: Are you sure? I mean, it's awfully dangerous and all that...

Gandalf: Remove the cheese wheel from your gaping maw and tell them, Bilbo.

Bilbo: *swallows a mouthfull of Wensleydale and looks at the gathered adventurers* We want you all to bring us the things on this list here. *Bilbo hands Jade the list*

Jade: *unrolls the crackling parchment and reads allowed*
I. Rescue Gandalf's Fabled Dry Cleaning From Mordor...?
II. Get Bill the Pony some New Shoes?
III. Get a few pints From the Prancing Pony?
IV. Destroy the One Ring Around The Bathtub?

Bilbo: There's more there, also. Just erm, do what's on the list, and then bring it all back here. All right?

Jade: *mutters* I thought this was gonna be dangerous?

Gandalf: It is dangerous, young Elf. I'd thank you not to scoff.

Jade: *grins, makes a mental not to not scoff until they're back out the door*

*eyes widen briefly at the list of things to do*

Well, then, I suppose we should be about it.

*stands up carefully and smoothes out her leathers*

Jade: That's what I'm saying. *takes one last sip of Dew and stands up*

...............right then.........

Bilbo: Ah. Well I suppose I could give you a few bags of food then. In case you get hungry on the way! *runs out of the room and comes back with a large bag of provisions*

Gandalf: Are you all sure you want to do this?

Jade: Why not? *shrugs*

Gandalf: That's the sort o atitude I like! Peaceful noncomitiality is wonderful in a young elf.

Jade: *raises an eyebrow* Right. So! Shall we be off then?

Bilbo: Yes. Get out of my house.

Jade: Okay! *grabs the bag of provisions and tosses it over her shoulder, then turns on one soft-heeled boot... hell and makes her way to the door, which, when she gets to it, opens and walks out.*

*Follows Jade, thinking: maybe I'll volunteer for the "pints from the prancing pony" mission.*

*strides purposefully out of the hobbit hole, careful not to bump her head*

Jade: *quietly singing "The Road Goes Ever On and On"*

Jade: Is everybody here and accounted for...? *doesn't even make a second glance to check it out* good. Then I suggest we first go to the Prancing Pony... For the pints, of course... And then perhaps we can go back there, after we come back from Mordor, and all that.

*sea runs to catch up, then falls in step with the rest*

Jade: *walking walking* Hey, y'all. Anyone know any good road songs? I know a few, but I don't think many of you would know them...

Jade: *snapping her fingers and bopping her head* Good choon, Yow. Where'd you pick that one up?

*joins in*

Jade: Booooorn to be wii- *suddently stops singing and signals for quiet* *whispered* Do any of you hear that? From the East. There are two riders approaching, apparently riding... *she listens intently* hedgehogs...? Whatever they are, I don't like the sound of things. We should get off the road. *she leaps into some nearby bushes and motions for the others to follow suit*
