Do you think that a Gelf would withstand a Raptor round through the forehead?

Well SHEESH if you want to anger them. Perhaps you should leave your weapon and go in peace

Now listen to this! Threatening a fellow officer!

Officer? As far as I can tell, you're a cadet...

None the less, it is still against the rules. And quite rude, too.

Thats beside the point completely!!!

(and also just my username smiley - tongueout but fine)

Its still threatening a fellow crew member at least! I'm going to write a complaint!

To whom? And anyway, from experience I can tell you that in any organisation like the space corps, what I have done is called 'keeping disipline intact'. I agree that its a stupid thing to state, but it is useful at times.

Thamian, you do know I am a commander in the space corps? And as such I am athourized to administer punishments? And as there isn't a single bugger from the space corps on this ship except me I can administer any punishment I want?

*a button start to flash. Ace inspects it*

Ahh, the GELFs have docked and are currently lasering their way through our hangar bulkheads. Thamian? What's your postion on operation T.I.T.?

Barely armed with no holomines.

Ahh the holomines...

Explain how the holomines work again?

In short they produce a force-field re-inforced hologram modelled perfectly on the subject, in this case me. They possess a simplistic version of the brain matrices of the subject, albeit with no self preservation instinct. And an absolute obedience to the subject. Their power sources last for about a month or two.

Ace Rimmer [pretending]

Right. You won't have any of those, correct.

I might be able to find one of my fathers down in the cargo decks somewhere...

Most likely not though. Cleaned out all of those last spring. Cat helped. Said he needed the space for his suits.
