Monday again

Blimey it is wet out there. Finn wont go out. At least I wont have to de ice the car this am ( that is because I bought some de icer no doubt).
Off to Stirling soon to catch the train to Glasgow. Meeting M at 9.30 at Queen St as she doesnt know where to go. I really prefer travelling on my own but hey ho.
Im going to have a quick look in the shops around the arcade in Buchanan Street. I love the Jo Malone shop and when R and I went on the day we did our Glasgow curry jaunt it was shut. I think that the Cath Kidston shop that was next to it was a pop up shop and is now closed which is a shame.
Im going to go swimming tonight as dont have time to go just now.

A Sunday kind of day

It is very icy again
I think Lizzie is at work at 8. Poor wee lamb she is at work all the time and has 4 x 4.30 am starts this week.
Bill going to see Rick Wakeman tonight and Chris still in Oban so a nice quiet evening for me. Im going to do my OU application I think.
Today Im going to do some marking ( which I will do some more of next weekend) and will take Finn out as didnt have time yesterday. Bill took him for a 5 mile walk along the river and I picked them up after it.
This week is a bit odd as the Stirling schools are off for 3 days. Tomorrow Im going to soscn for an anti bullying workshop and will then spend a bit of time in Glasgow looking at the shops. Back to Stirling after that mainly to collect stuff for Tuesday. Tuesday Im in Dundee in the morning and then at McD Park in the afternoon for a seminar on the new equalities legislation. In the evening Im going to the DCA to see The Donkeys. Wednesday Im in Stirling and Falkirk all day and will have the evening to finish off the OU application. Thursday Im working on IV ing Annes Stirling students work and then have various meetings and the Thursday night course. Friday i will go through to Stirling in the morning to hopefully help Katie finish her project and then have Anne coming to my house late afternoon to go over the IV ing so a busy but not particularly difficult week ahead.

Just another Saturday

Oh dear I woke up very early
I spent last evening working on the conference abstract for Cardiff. I am almost at the stage of sending it to Anne and Lesley for their comments and final tweaking
I also watched a New Tricks ( a new one)
I went to bed at 10 and woke up when Bill came to bed accompanied for some reason that I suspect was to do with fireworks by Finn
Today Im going to go and get the papers and go for a swim. I will then do some work on the AHS folder I think and finish the conference abstract. Ive got marking to do which I will do tomorrow. I think I will leave the OU job application to Monday and Wednesday evenings ( off to the pictures on Tuesday).
Chris is in Oban and Lizzie was working until 1am and is then back at 12 which is breaking the WTD so she isnt best chuffed. She hasnt seen Cameron either as he is at work at 7 so there wasnt any point in him coming round.
Im not sure what Bill is doing but hopefully it is going to include going to B and Q to get the materials he needs for putting shelving up in the study for dvd's and videos. I wish he would hurry up and do it so that the bay of shelving in the living room that they are currently on can be given over to books
Cant remember if I said that the conservatory base man had been yesterday. Def progress. I am so looking forward to having it so as to have a quiet space. I have twice come home in the past couple of days to find the kids watching utter bilge on the tv and it really upsets my equilibrium.

Hooray it is Friday

Have just waved Chris off to work. He is going straight to the theory test in Dundee after that. He is going to Oban for the weekend and is staying until Monday.
I feel very tired still but have loads to do over the next 3 days.
I also want to go to Dundee to see the filkm The Donkeys which is part of the same trilogy as Red Road. I havent been to the cinema for years and all of a sudden there are 3 films in a row that I want to see, that one, The Kids are Alright and Another Year. All on at the DCA in the next couple of weeks.

Thursday

It is weird to think that it is a week today since Richard went. Today will be a lot easier than last Thursday as I wont have to fit supporting him through the move or taking him to the airport into the mix.
Today I am off to the office and then to Falkirk first thing for the last class of the NPA, then to the office to prep for a Time Management session Im doing at Alsorts, then to Alsorts to do it, back to Falkirk to see Steven and Claire, back to the office to get everything ready for tonight and then the class tonight.
Tomorrow Im going to be working at home and going to meet Drew for a cuppa in the early afternoon.
