I've seen Mamma Mia and Narnia. Incidentally was Aslan's death reflective of the ressurection of Jesus?

The Mist
Promoted as a Stephen King horror/gore-fest, it does what it says on the tin.

"Keeping Mum" (finally got the replacement for the defective rental)
Cute! We both got a couple of giggles. Good, light fare. 7 out of 10.

Dr Strangelove is one of my absolute favorites.
Meanwhile, I hate RomCom.
So I should recommend for you films that I don't like?
Speaking of which, I have something I'd like to send you...

Aaaarrgghh! Another area where Psychocandy and I agree!
Haven't been to the movies recently...there's not much on that's grabbing my attention. Next to arrive on my rental list will be 1408 - anyone seen this? Thoughts (without spoilers, please! ?

Whoo hoo! I've found some of the newer Doctor Who episodes on PBS (series 2, I think) but I keep forgetting to watch them.
It's been a strange day to begin with, and now Reddyfreddy and I agree on something?

I saw Wall-E last night. It was pretty good, but not quite as good as the review I read suggested. The graphics are stunning though.

Oh I loved the Good German.
Last night I watched Last of the Mohicans.
Not much to say about that except that it's a girly droolfest.

Dark Knight was good, but very dark indeed. Incredible performance from Heath Ledger.

Psychocandy, you'll probably enjoy it.
, Reddyfreddy. I'll see if I can chuck that in my queue. I take it that means you didn't enjoy it?
In Bruges is supposedly on its way to us. Should have arrived yesterday (though the mail could have come late, after we checked for it).

What? How? When? Why? What?
Even for those of us with a relaxed attitude toward copyright law I thought it wasn't available anywhere until Friday of this week....

The publishers jumped out from backstage with a couple of cans of film and went "dun-dun-DERRRR!"

Opti - all the Narnia stories are Christian retellings.
I saw Mamma Mia last week - loved it - the week before it was Kung Fu Panda, and the week before that it was Prince Caspian.
Don't normally go that much, but it was a combination of free seats, birthdays, and somehting I thought Mrs D. would like.
