Just revisited posting 165 and it has been reinstated.
Of course I meant "C'est" not "Il est" but its all water under the bridge now...
Or Backlog....
Or already seen...
Day jar view, which will only happen if the campaign to simplify English spelling has any impact.

Now that the legacy has returned there's going to be a lot of déjàvuing going on.
Remember when a glass of was a Y?

*Now that the legacy has returned there's going to be a lot of déjàvuing going on.*
Now that the legacy has returned there's going to be a lot of elderly researchers boring the rest of us rigid with "those were the days" stories!
(Just being provocative, you know! I know you're not all wrinked and senile!)
Can't we get back to the matter in hand? You've all gone so quiet and we've barely scratched the surface.
More erudite speculation, please, upon the meaning of the concept of "deja vu"

Loup, I'm frankly gutted that you could claim that gag when i did my best to produce an all-singing, all-dancing version halfway up this page...
or down this page...
hang on...
I've got the wierd feeling i've had this conversation before...

*itching to translate "boring old fart"* ... what's the feminine version?
TC - now with added guilty conscience pangs. (First Spiff feels obliged to put something about his age in his name and then my "good old days" nostalgia trip was nipped in the bud)

Narapoia Posted Nov 15, 2002
Aw, sorry TC!
Boring Old Fart was traditionally abbreviated as BOF, so presumably the feminine version would be BOFFE?!

*runs into the thread, slamming the door behind him, slightly out of breath*
You'll never guess guys, I've just escaped from another thread... all they're talking about in there is 'deja vu'!
*looks around thread*

D'you know, I've just experienced the same thing!
Now I'm sure there's some foreign expression for that feeling.....

egon Posted Nov 15, 2002
Whisky, you may not believe this, but I've heard that it actually means already seen- i mean bugger me with a fish-fork, who would've thought it!
