oh dear...smiley - biggrin

someone is cracking up...smiley - boing

i've seen that happen before... very "deja vu" indeed...smiley - whistle

might have to avoid saying "deja vu" too often from now on as obviously it's this "deja vu" business which is causing this "deja vu" kind of madness like...smiley - biggrin

so let's keep "DEJA VU" references to the minimum...smiley - ok?!...

anyway.... what was the subject we were talking about?!...

something having to do with being ALREADY SEEN like... i think...
or is it "DEJA VU" again... already... something like that... like...smiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - laugh

why happier?!... oh yeah of course...

it's because the "plain" skin is exactly what us digibox users needed to access long conversations without hassles...

there is a bit more to it but it's definitely great news for us...

i have to go off line now so i can't say too much... but let say that we are very happy that jim decided to let this prototype skin go live at the same time than the new DNA version...

talk later...smiley - surfer

OK, the translators arsed again- anyone know what "Que'st Ce Que J'Ai Fait" means (i mean, I assume loup does)

the translation is: what have i done?

spiff: yep the skin is still not in all the preferences BUT [we have become very good at finding ways...smiley - biggrinsmiley - laugh] when clicking on the link provided by mina in the thread about it [started by whisky i kinda remember..] it takes us to the "plain" skin... then we click on preferences and, as it says "alabaster" for unknown reasons, we change it for "plain"... so we can use it without waiting for it to appear...

i have been using it since yesterday afternoon and have been able to read some convos backlogs which were out of reach for us before...

so yep considering it's only a prototype it seems to do the trick... it's strange not having to click on the good old "360 link" everytime we want to access a long conversation...

from memory, i think the link is:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/plain/

if it doesn't work i will check it again...

at least no more of the continual "deja vu" "out.of.memory" messages from the machine...smiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrin

I haven't tried that link yet, but, as we discovered somewhere else, Jim has fixed it for us so that even if someone gives a link in another skin, it automatically appears on your screen in your own preferred skin.

Having said that, perhaps I should ask the questions first and shoot afterwards. But I couldn't do both at once.

hehe...

that's why i'm happier... it's perfect for machines with not much memory... hehe...

obviously it's only the prototype... there will be some "polishing" done later on... but for us [digibox users] it's wonderful...

Just the opposite, I think.
Water under the bridge usually means some disagreement that is now in the past and therefore no longer of any consequence.

Unlike the topic of conversation in this thread, which is supposed to be an attempt an uncovering the true meaning of "deja vu" and yet recent contributions have totally failed to address the issue. Shameful.

Can we get back on topic please?
