*NYC chokes on the black smoke engulfing the corridors after repeated attempts at fireballing the place, and seeing that he's about to lose the room, NYC remotely activates the exit doors own security systems, which DON'T have a sensor distinguishing between friend and foe. Multiple small compartments open in the door, with weapons to give the heroes a moment's pause in considering the feasability of goina bout this mission. NYC hits the deck*
