>>>195 by Mariella Magerit makes no sense to me
I'm glad I'm not the only one piqued by curiosity yet completely baffled!
But there again... I'm still trying to figure out just who half the people in this thread actually are...

Mrs Zen's suggestion in 197 (that 'he' was SoRB) makes sense really.

Re-reading 195, I'm sure Mariella's replying to Kea's comment about Hoo:

You´re right Mrs Zen. I´m sorry to create confusion. I thought you meant that comment of Kea, that of missing Hoo.
The fact that I didn´t like her comment doesn´t mean anything against Kea, whom I also consider thoughtful, passionate and compassionate as you say.
I simply don´t like to read that people miss someone´s behaviour which, funny or not, it hurt more than necessary in some occasions.
And my point is that we should consider that maybe he doesn´t want to be missed for a behaviour that costed him to be banned.(I´m thinking of his words in the MOT thread) and on the other hand, that I don´t find right to miss someone to say what we don´t dare to say.
Let´s miss him for the positive about him.

the person (smokehammer) who posted the banned notice, posted under another name and wrote an entry on Perfect (later changed to smooth) fried eggs. This is the PR thread http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F13950842?thread=6688916&post=83752487#p83752487

I think amphibiousFilibuster was a new identity created only to tell everybody that Smokehammer coundn't post anymore, so that we wouldn't worry.

yes, so it would seem . Although in the fried egg post above, as amphibiousFilibuster , he seemed sick of the place

But on the MOT comment, he seemed fond of the place.
I must say that I have always been of two minds about SoRB. On the one hand, he has a very clear mind and very good ideas and interesting arguments about things. On the other hand, he can be, er, somewhat unsettling at times.
