So? (this is about back-fastening bras)
I've always put mine on by putting my arms through the straps, making sure my boobs are in the boob-parts, then reaching both hands behind me to hook it up.
I'd assumed that most people, except people who have problems reaching behind themselves and young girls who aren't quite used to the dratted things, do the same.
At school and in the Army, whenever I had occasion to see people putting on their bras, they pretty much did the same thing.
But recently I've noticed, during my trips to the gym, that people seem to put them on upside-down-back-to-front, do up the hooks, swivel them round, pull them up then pull the bra straps up over their arms.
Apart from this being a lengthly process, and uncomfortable with an underwire- the fact that this overstretches the elastic straps and probably leads to early (expensive) bra-renewal makes me wonder when women lost the ability to do up their bras.
Or am I just weird and everyone's doing it like this these days?

hi.
we all have our own little foibles
ive always done my bra up from the front and twisted it round to the back.
i dont think i could reach around the back to do it up that way. now that would be a long winded process

I'm afraid I've been doing my bra up at the front, swivelling it round, and then putting my arms through, for more than 25 years, and I do it without thinking about it and so can't do it any other way!
My friends at university called it "the baby way".
I can take it *off* without swivelling it round. Unlike my husband

The thread being female-centric makes it all the more interesting to be honest.

Put the bra in place - there's a knack to getting the bazombies in the right position in the cups, and it involves bending over slightly - and then reach round behind to hook into place.
Unless it's a front loader.

I do it just like Mol , I finish the operation by "relocating" the breast a bit in the cups. I take it off like Mol too.
My husband sometimes prefers not to take it off

A front-loader? They are a nightmare!
Back-fasteners are a twist and flick to undo... but front loaders are a and everyone is different...
The times, in my innocent youth, I've tried for the back-fastener release to be told, in a very fashion... 'Try the front?'
So here is a question then?
How do you put on a 'Shock-Absorber' Sports Bra? As that has no fastener?
Over, shoulder straps then in?
Or over, in, then shoulder straps?
And when removing, is it straps then fastener, or fastener then straps?
*Believe it or not, I DO sell 'Boulder Holsters', so I even know about strap concealers, backless, frontless, self adhesive types as well as 'chicken fillet' as well! But I've never found ones that fit! *

I do my front-loader like you do, Sho. I used to hook in the front and turn it around back in the day when my boobs were much smaller.

I must admit that when I was a Thespian... (titter ye not) or should I say AmDram, I was advised to 'Fasten from the front, swivel, strap and cup!' as Men can only remove not apply!
When I tried it the 'Traditional' way, I found they were right...
We can wire a plug, fix the car, work the remote, set the video, but we're at dressing a woman!!!
Thank goodness we don't wear make-up! . Can you imagine???
The 1960's revisited, but applied with a trowel???

It is amazing how, when doing AmDram, some parts just will not be taken by the Gender they were scripted for!
The bra part was easy , but the stockings? They like hell. Especially upon removal. A perfect exfoliant! I do not suggest wearing them with un-waxed legs, or nearest equivalent!!!

you can always wear fishnets... less uncomfortable with hairs though still as unsightly.
As for bras, I do up round the back, then straps up, then adjust myself in the cups. Current 'wisdom' advises leaning forward and giving boobs a wiggle to settle them in the right place. I find I dont have to do that. I find a lift and bounce with the hands does the job for me, but I know my breasts and my bra very well.
I also do my longer basque-type bras up behind by feel. I find twisting them round afterwards is uncomfortable at best and bloody irritating at worst! Watching a chap watching you do up about 16" of bra clasps behind your back is an amusing thing... Their eyes boggle!

I'm not really here Posted May 13, 2008
If they are a single hook fastening I do them up at the back. If they are double, which most of them are, I have to do them up at the front and spin them round. I can't ever get the second hook done up.
I shouldn't have to do this, because it often catches my moles and makes them bleed doing it this way - I had to have one removed because of it, and probably have a few more that should go, as they get lose on the underside. Why can't someone invent something easier to do up.
My boobs change in size so often these days that I have to keep buying new bras anyway. I once had a really long running journal entry on the subject.

Last Friday night I watched in tv that German women are who most money spend in lingerie. The program is about sex and they also showed a lot of "special" German lingerie.
Germany: another country I must visit
What kind of bras do you like most ladies?

A selection for different purposes.
For work, where I wnat to be taken seriously, then I want my bra to be invisible, so no seams, no lace, probabaly flesh coloured and definitely slightly padded.
For going out, proabably a Wonderbra or something that's going to enhance cleavage.
For the bedroom, more frilly/ lacy/ silky ones.
