Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~ Posted Sep 10, 2001
I've been thinking, quartermaster: Maybe we shouldn't scare all those away. We may need their sheets to reapir sails one day. Until then maybe we should ban them to The Female Sanctuary - seeing as it has been empty and deserted for weeks
Oh, and Pod: Think no more of it!

Oh...Joe...*whispers:meet me at mid-night in the galley & I'll whip you up a little something special*
Yhoo-hoo...Paul H. how could you EVER think I would ask Aunt Matilda to leave? Sheesh. Men. Oh, speaking of...she asked if you might try re-wording the ssecond stansa of your poem...says it starts too slowly. Hey, don't kill the messenger.
And if you ever want to find her...just

I'll be lucky if I even get the
first stanza finished.
Or does Aunt Matilda mean the
dialogue a few posts back?
Is she upset that I revealed her
age? I'll bet that was it!
I just wasn't thinking. Well,
I'll work around that tactfully
when I get back to the poem.
Shooting messengers is hard when you
don't have a gun. Unless you count
shooting off my mouth.

Wha??? No GUN?!? As soon as we land/put in/crash, etc. Getting you a pistol must be 1st on our things to do! I couldn't have so many s w/o a gun! It's gret for chasing off cyotees!
And I find it works well on trespassers in my woods. I don't REALLY shoot anyone/thing...they just think I'm shooting at them! It's great fun really. Ahh...country life...

What!!?
Ms. Sally wears brightly colored female
undergarments over her eyes? Why, how
does she see where she's going?
As for having a pistol, I am not sure
why I would need it. Being an ,
I expect that bullets from anyone else's
gun would pass through me with no harm.
Of course, I may not have read the user's
manual for my wings thoroughly enough....
I am not contemplating retiring from the
guardian angel field. Judging from today's
chaos in New York and Washington, the world
needs guardian angels more than ever.

I saw the Twin Towers collapse from New Jersey. Horrable, unthinkable thing.

Please see my Home Page: The Day The World Cried. I've put a poem there as well...in the thread, not on the page...sorry, so little sleep. Plane # 93 turned from it's course & flew over my cabin. Then it crashed miles to the East in the next State. War planes were the ONLY sounds all day.
