Flint's age, like much else about him, is shrouded n the mists of mystery, which is an enigma wrapped up in a riddle.

If Flint is a he, then the mother must be a she. Anyone seen a lady parrot lately?

Flint is as mean as the 's grandma - so might be a she

Some weird sounds have been heard from the greenhouse recently. For all I know there may be dozens of parrots. I've never seen Flint there, though, if my memory serves.

If the greenhouse were full of avocado and rhubarb and cacao trees, there would be no parrots there. If, however, there were fruit trees and seed-bearing plants, parrots could happily live there.

All of that may be found in the greenhouse. It's a jungle in there. And a desert, a mountain range, vast plains, you name it.

Only thing not in there is an ocean. It seemed superfluous.

Correct. Ocean is not in there, it's out here.

It's best not to crowd oceans anyway. They get claustrophobic and cause tsunamis.
