*A small woman pops her head round the door, it is covered in cobwebs, she reveals more of herself and it soon becomes apparent that she is covered in aforementioned from head to foot. A smile begins to slowly spread across her face. This is the first place she's been in the world of H2G2 that doesn't look like it's been abandoned years ago. She walks up to the bar her smile getting wider and wider*

Hello? Who goes there? And what's your poison? Come sit with me in one of the easy chairs near the fireplace, the chill is getting to me old bones smiley - brr

[Clutches a mug of mulled smiley - redwine and gazes out the window at the shore, where a raging rainstorm is whipping up the waves and making life miserable for the few fishing boats that have unwisely gone out to met their day's quotas of smiley - schooloffish]

I only have one. Of flesh and bone that is. The other one is made of ivory. Carved out of an elephants tusk it is.

But it's no to much the legs you have to worry about. It's your stomach smiley - yuk

I think a seal would prefer fish, but eggs would be acceptable if fish were in short supply. smiley - winkeye

Well, caviar of any kind appeals to many, including those who are not seals smiley - drool. When I was in Saint Petersburg, I went to a banquet that featured beef stroganoff, and caviar on blini. It was quite good. smiley - ok

Since we are quite close to Saint Petersburg we could go and look for leftovers smiley - bigeyes

I should probably reveal at this point that the ship is presently hid under a very small and inconspicuous looking island located somewhere safe between Estonia and Finland

Sorry, I meant to compliment the many cafes and restaurants of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. There's also tongue with horseradish, boiled pork in jelly, blood and barley sausage, sauerkraut with pork and potatoes [I think I dined on that one time], Baltic sprats with bacon in sour cream, washed down with kama, a drink made of sour milk and flours of rye, oat, barley, and pea.

I have also been there alone. Under cover, of course. The old part of Lyndanisse, the part the natives call Vanalinn, is much to my liking. Not just because of the beverages and delicacies to be found there. But of course those play a major role smiley - drool
