Styx follows brown rat and both trotting quickly along small pipe. Cross several big pipes and gradually curve, more parallel with coast. Styx keeps scent record of trail. Then brown rat stops and whispers Ratlish in Styx's ear*
Guide says safety pipe ends ahead. We have to go couple hundred meters down monster pipe then jump for pipe on other side. He says monsters know this is a rat crossing. Ready?

Ahem, sorry. Weaponry? Laser beams in eyes, obviously, various knives, shotgun in right welly, snowzar borrowed from Affy in the raid on KL's hangar, two automatic pistols, one rifle with night-sight, stun grenades... and probably a few other things I've forgotten about.

I only go round killing and feeding Black Rats to the monsters. If you're a brown rat, you've nothing to fear from me. Afterall, brown rats are quite nice once you get to know them....
