Good morning, everyone. I have a very busy week ahead of me -- the Billy the Kid Pageant weekend is approaching, and now I know I'm a true resident of Lincoln because I am working hard on things to sell to turistas.
Welcome to the atelier, stinkywigfiddle. That name IS going to get shortened, trust me; best say now whether you prefer stinky or wig or what! To get oriented, check http://www.asterlil.com/h2g2/aplannew.htm and then just make yourself comfortable.
I went to the deviant art website last night, to see your work. It's extremely strong; are you an art student? The comic book page at the top of the list, it made me think of that recent case where the boy committed suicide online.
*refills her teacup and grabs a couple of cinnamon buns*
Right, I'm off to work. See you all later! *heads to her studio*

Cheers for the links, Ben, and the info, coelacanth. I shall endevour to have fun.
We want to keep the British door open, Z, and if we don't do something about that soon it would be more difficult later. Plus, I realised at Xmas that apart from practical considerations, if I don't spend some considerable time in Britain soon, I will be in danger of being totally alienated from the place. Basically, I don't want to lose my 'place' there. It is, after all, my motherland. We can always come back here later.
And I miss my Mum.

My, you guys had a lot to say over the weekend! We're still in the middle of our heat wave (90-100°F every day with no humidity) and fire season is in full swing here. The skies are orangey-hazy from several nearby fires. If anyone is interested, here is the wildland fire report for the whole U.S.:

Well the move is over with. Moved large stuff every day, including friday, but its in and done.
Luckily I had no furniture (other than mattress, desk, dresser, and 36" 250lb tv) or appliances, so all that will be delivered. I will still be receiving the assorted odds and ends throughout August.
Computer is set up and I get my cable and cable modem today @ 3.
I set up my LaserDisc player and watched Star Wars for the first time in ages, in all its digital glory.
Welcome stinkywigfiddle.
for everyone who needs it, and
to everyones accomplishments.

Most people just call me stinky. But any variation is fine. Wig, wiggy, fiddle, Stinkywig. Or you could call me Master of Wigfiddles
And thanks for checkin' out my art. I am indeed an art student. A sequential art major.
Hello to everyone who's been so nice to greet me.

Hello, everyone ! Welcome stinkywigfiddles ! I liked your comics on your site.
My crazy work schedule is beginning to catch up with me. I couldn't sleep for half the morning, and now that i am getting ready for work I am starting my day out exhausted. Am still waiting to hear from the slumlord how his trip to the lake with his boat went, he was cranky and wouldn't talk to me last night.

*s Caer* Have you tried whisky?
Hi Stinky . I've just been looking at your Ashamed Horse picture
. That was probably a mistake just before bedtime but it's a great picture

Sort of makes a tired wave in passing having caught up with the backlog from the weekend.
Went to the Tatton Park flower show on friday, saw loads and was impressed by some and not impressed by others. Then it was away for the weekend to see some absent friends, B17 and a few others. Very tiring weekend as much talk (and drinking) long long long into the night (so long it wasn't much night by the time I crashed).
Today was the first day at work. Seems OK so far but I'll just grab a spare room and get more sleep.

*comes in to get a beer and some tostado chips and salsa* Hi again. Work proceeds. I'm glad I noticed that Billy needs horizontal flipping before I printed out his cards.
That was typolifi! I wonder if he's out of school for the summer.
Courtesy, congratulations on a move completed.

Hi Stinky.
*presents Stinky with a coupon for half off a burger at the Dandelion Diner*
If you catch me on a good day, it'll be half of the price of a burger. If not, I'll cut half of the burger off before I serve it.
