Hey Ben that's great news! congrats. Bit of a reprieve this end the Welsh gig shrank...due to inclement weather and posh peeps not 'doing' tents in rain therefore house full. (18 bedroom and house full...it's another world). Managed to just send flowers without having to do the overnighter. Angela took them (20 arrangements) down with the food. I can have a two day chill before the two week flop! Invoices all out...quotes for manic Christmas weddings ditto...case packed... just sorting through the reading material. One student text book, a travel book and something really trashy should do! Good luck with the job and thanks to all for well wishes...see you in August!

I too have been a bit under the weather. The trip to Roswell and back was brutal, I suppose, and I had a headache and itchy eyes for the rest of the day. But today I should be able to stick fairly close to the computer. After lunch, anyway. I'm going to have a few hours off, first.

I will have to put up with my problem of yesterday in a couple of hours, for a few hours. AT the moment I am feeling quite a lot of tension as I know that the antagonist from the previous day will be here soon enough.

I know what you mean about not wanting your parents to worry, when people in my family have problems we go to a great extent to hide the problems from our parents. I do find it odd that other people tell their parents the details of every doctors appointment.

I've spent most of the day tweaking my latest PR entry, which whilst satisying isn't revision.

So far so good, the jerk in question has left me alone thus far. It helps that the rest of my team is being cool about it and pretty much agrees with me.

3 more hours to go still, and who knows how it will shake out in the end.

H and No2 son have spent the day working on the Polo, it has been wet and with a chill breeze blowing. But hopefully, it will be worth it in the end with the car in a saleable condition.

Meanwhile, I have sprayed the 3 remaining hub disc thingies so that they will more or less match with the new one when it arrives on Monday.

Off out to dinner tonight.

I've having a stress about my up and coming exam, the reason I've been on here most of the day is because I'm feeling a bit run down, and too tired to concentrate on studying. I've tried coffee and pro plus, but all they've done is give me a slight tremour. Added to this I'm too stressed out about the coming exam to actually sleep. a vicious circle.

Ok this isn't realy a problem. I'm just annoyed with myself for leaving it all to the last minute.

What seet bitterness.

I just went to teh wedding of a lady with whom I have had an attraction for years. We dated a couple of times about 7 years ago, but it never went anywhere. She was absolutly stunning.

Lovely Marv. You obviously connected with her because you're still friends. But it's painful when the connection is in a way different than what we'd had hoped. I think that's happened to all of us. I know it has to me. Now I'm going to be Pollyanna. There's a perfect woman out there for you and you'll find her one day. In the meantime, enjoy the temporary relationships that come your way.

I've just got in from having tea and my grandparents in Wolverhampton, that's 15 minutes on a train away from Birmingham but of course it's thought of as very far away. People from Wolverhampton think of Birmingham as being cosmopolitan from the big city! Even though Wolverhampton is now a city it's self on paper.


I meet a girl I knew from University on the train, I hadn't seen her for a while, and we'd lost touch because we'd both lost our phones- and it was really nice to catch up with her.
