A Conversation for Dr. Greklas' Castle
The Dungeon
Garius Lupus Posted Sep 4, 2003
*Helps himself to some and bisquits.*
I wonder if this suit will be affected by the prison's defenses. It's pretty advanced.

Greklas-Er, yes. The odd nature of this asteroid is causing us to take a few liberties with the artificial gravity here in our castle in the sky. Not only must we work around the sudden presence of an asteroid the size of a small planet and the gravity that it entails, but we must also be very careful around the G-Force Mines which are activated through gravitational pull. One way to masque our signal from them is by creating alternating currents of artificial gravity and negative-gravity that would make us appear farther from the mines than we actually are. *Looking over his controls, comparing to the Arithmancer's trajectory map* Sure hope that Squid knows how to pilot as well as we programmed him to....
Arithmancer-Call me old-fashioned, Asteroid Lil, but I prefer the classic digital watch for mad-science operations. It's rustic enough to make me feel comforable with the technology represented, and it's design is less painful than having a symbiotic shape-changing tattoo that can form the position of the time placed on my arm.

[Yar takes a biscuit. Bass and treble just scowl. Mog lies on the floor, smoke rising up from his mouth.]

*pours some tea for Mog*
A shape changing tattoo! Fashion can be so silly. *her eyes flicker behind her glasses* I think your Squid is doing just fine.
Yar, do you think that sauce caused any internal damage?
I'm glad we're all together, too. *thoughtfully reviews the plans that have been laid out by the Mad Scientists*

Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Sep 4, 2003
[Bulma] [as Mog] "I'm not dead!"
[Yar] [glances at Mog] Eh, he's not only a cartoon, but also an RPG character. Internal injuries aren't even an issue.

Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Sep 5, 2003
[Mog] I'll pass on that ...
[Bulma] [as Mog] "...before another explosion passes through me."

Afgncaap5 Posted Sep 5, 2003
*Greklas looks up from his controls*
Greklas-So far it looks like The Arithmancer's guide is holding up fairly well....we're only a few posts away from being in orbit around the Prison, away from the dangerous G-Force Mines. Arithmancer, make sure that this simulation keeps running, we'll need to figure out how to get out of this place once we get in.

Asteroid Bill Posted Sep 5, 2003
*The Castle veers a little too close to one of the G-Force Mines and it begins to react, but before it actually explodes, it is swept out of range by a slight waver in the electo-magnetic force field of the asteroid.*

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Sep 5, 2003
*the cup falls from her hand as Lil faints*
The Dungeon
Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Sep 5, 2003
[Bulma] [responding to Greklas] Yeah, don't want to have a "when you got us here did you have a plan for getting us out?"
[Vegeta] [as Han Solo] "HE'S the brains, sweetheart!"
[Bass] [to Lil, after she faints] You need to relax.
[Trunks] [as Obi-Wan] "I think you overdid it." [normal] ... Gah, we're reduced to referencing Phantom Menace!
The Dungeon
Sol Posted Sep 6, 2003
*drops her teacup (no tea left) in alarm*
Heavens, Lil, are you ok? *starts fanning Lil's face, and feeling for a pulse*
Lavender water. I must have lavender water!
The Dungeon
Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Sep 6, 2003
[Bulma] [as Sol] "Or, failing that, chartreuse water!"
The Dungeon
Coniraya Posted Sep 6, 2003
*finds a flannel and a small bottle of Norfolk Lavender water in a pocket. Soaks the flannel with the lavender water and passes it to Sol*

Garius Lupus Posted Sep 7, 2003
*Rushes over to Lil and discretely checks her neck.*
She's wearing her healthstone. Hmmmmm. Something significant must be affecting her.

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Sep 7, 2003
*comes to, talking* Rock! Rock! Tell the Hildas to keep in line!
The Dungeon
Witty Moniker Posted Sep 7, 2003
She's waking up.
Did anyone understand what she said? Who is Hilda?
What did you say, Lil?
