Good idea. What with all the police cuts, armed robbery becomes ever more viable.

Scotland's No 1 Bridge as it describes itself doesn't seem to be going anywhere, but it did wish the Golden Gate Bridge a happy birthday....
Plan pay off debt will be to implement an austerity package with server cuts to spending on alcohol, meals out, and iProducts.

I was inspired by this to see if the 'Yellow Brick Road' was still available on Twitter, so I could set it up and ask people to follow it.
Sadly, Lloyd Webber got there first with the account name.

Receiving an unexpected big bunch of flowers, and a huge box of chocolates (and not from my husband!)
I joked with the office about it being from my secret admirer, before leaving them on the office kitchen table for all to share (I have a bikini to get into in a few days!)

Something arrive in the post, which I'd only ordered less than 23 hours before which in itself, lead to an interesting day today... of not getting half as much housework done as I intended

I was out with friends geocaching, and between 07:15 and 22:45 we walked 26 miles in the Chiltern Hills and found 109 caches. We got wet and dirty but achieved an ambitious target for the day.
The downside, is that as I write this, my knees ache. Quite a lot.

This is an example of why I just don't 'get' Twitter.
I discovered that I have some cheese in my fridge that I can 'follow' on Twitter.
What on earth would I be doing following cheese?
In my world, cheese is usually followed by bread, pickles and beer.

Spent the day with a good friend strolling the boardwalks in Asbury Park and Ocean Grove and shopping at a huge flea market.

several things together combined to be the best thigns of yesterday. doing two loads of laundry, whilst sweeping the bathroom, spare room, bedroom, landing and stairs (twice), then cleaning the same on my hands and needs with cloth, bleeach spray stuff, and a scrubbing brush, cleaning the insides of the windows I could easily get to, dusting, hoovering downstairs, combined with having a house devoid of lodger and thereby quiet and actually able, for once, for me to do this cleaning (for the second day on the trott, trying to get stuff clean), was good... going off to the pub in the evening was good too, though I could do without this hangover now as I'm meant to be doing more cleaning and* making bread, and cheese scones, and finishing off cleaning afte rthat by tackling the kitchen and doing more laundry
hmmm... naa, best thing about yesterday was being really quite drunk (5.5% Top dog (or hot dog?) stout), and being at a friends, listening to the Beatles, with a bunch of hippies...

I played board games all day with a load of friends: Arkham Horror, followed by Talisman, then two games of Carcassone. Great fun!

On days when I commute to work by train, I often see a woman wearing the most love,y raincoat- short, cream with a bl k tie belt and black on the inverted pleats. I admired it so much I wanted o ask her where it was from, but I lacked the nerve.
Yesterday I found it, in tkmaxx
