Yesterday, my husband booked us on a Medditerranean cruise

I learned how to sing "Heads, shoulders, knees and toes" in Urdu.

Best thing: caught up with a friend that I hadn't seen in years. Downside: he told me his daughter is going to start Uni this year. I can still remember a time when he and his wife didn't have any kids. Suddenly felt very old.

I was sitting on the beach, just looking out to sea, I first noticed that the little fish were jumping out of the water, so I guessed there was a bigger fish hunting them, eg a barracuda. It put me off swimming!

And then I saw a school of porpoises. To start with I thought that it was just a bow wave, but the sea was as still as a mill pond, the school moved from east to west. It was a magical moment.

Best thing yesterday, was spending a few hours with William and... nope can't think of anything else I actually did yesterday

The best thing that happened to me yesterday was watching an excellent episode of Game of Thrones.

I came home from work to find a family friend at the house. He'd come for a visit as my dad is currently at home recovering from having his prostate removed.

As of yesterday, I'm finally re-acclimatized to the desert after my most recent foray out, which, among other places, took me to the coast in the San Diego area, where I got my feet wet in the sea.

Yesterday evening after work, I went flying.

Now, the thing is, in the photo that follows, I *am* legitimately flying, as in, I am really strapped into an actual aircraft and I have just taken off, and I did fly a reasonable distance before touching down safely.

I admit, thought, that I have photoshopped the image slightly...

For 2 days, I haven't been able to think of anything that happened to me, let alone what the best of them was. I DO stuff, of course, but it's not happening to me, I'm doing it.

Nozzle perhaps not optimised for maximum thrust I'd venture.

Cooked an experimental adlibbed curry that was ace.

I reckon it will go in my stable of stock dishes in all!
