WOW - was Sunday night good OR WHAT

Having not had a complete circumcision after all, just a flared section cut out to allow retraction, it has taken a long time to get back to normal (and there was a small infection to clear up).

But over the last week I have been able to retract and clean underneath.

So Sunday night, having finished supper, the missus went up to shower and change into something more comfortable while I did the washing up.

Don't know whether it was the soap suds or the idea of a freshly showered missus upstairs, but I suddenly felt randier than a rampant rabbit so I intercepted her on the landing and made her miss The Royal.

Tell you what - there's something to be said for abstaining for a while!

WOW! I've abstained since January so wonder what it'll be like when I do get some again???

When I say abstained, I do mean from physical encounters.....my still gets plenty of use

U guys got real will power. I can't abstain for more than 48 hrs. I think the Arabs have the right idea with hareems.......oooooooohhhhhhh honey.

I need some advice, and where else to ask but here?

Have just had the results of my smear test, and apparently I have some borderline changes and have to go back for another test in 6 months time. And I've been advised not to try for a baby in that time, which kind of puts the kibosh on the plans we had to start after our first wedding anniversary in June.

The thing I can't work out if whether or not we have to use condoms between now and then - obviously contraception is needed, but would the little rubber coats also be necessary every single time? The advice leaflet with my results letter wasn't especially clear .

I'm not that worried about my results - after all, borderline changes is the lowest grade of smear test abnormality, and unless I'm extremely unlucky it should resolve itself - but I am miffed about not being able to get on with starting a family for the next 6 months.

Depends on how certain you want to be on not getting pregnant. I think oral contraception is meant to be really good, but I'm sure that there are times when people either forget to take them / throw up etc. In which case you're not protected.
Mind you - condoms aren't exactly 100% safe either...

I remember my lessons from school, where they said that there was no 100% to not get pregnant, apart from abstinence....

Abstinence for 6 months? Noooooooooo! I don't think me or my husband would cope with that!

I don't think many methods of contraception are 100% reliable. To be honest, it wouldn't matter to me if I got pregnant, seeing as we had plans in that area anyway - it just felt like given the recommendations it was better to play safe, so to speak.

If the powers that be suggest not getting pregnant, I guess its best to follow their advice...

Just use oral contraception, and be consistent (and not forgetful)....It would be irony though ya know - if you fell pregnant when you're not meant to and whilst using contraception.....

If I were a doctor I would advice rubbers until it is confirmed to be cleared up. You might risk infecting your DH (Dear Husband, of course, what did you think?) otherwise, and then keep giving it back and forth. But I am not a doctor...

just get on with life and enjoying a quick "tussle" and try at the same time try to find the nicest rubber cover coat you like, and just pratice untill your given the all clear to go and have a all out attck at a family, remember "theres nothing like pratice, to make perfect"
