Sorry - that was cowardly of me - it's me that needs the circumcision, not my brother.

Reading ReddyFreddy's post from back in April (how's that for perseverence?) it sounds like he may have had the same problem.

It's called BXO http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/menshealth/facts/balanitis.htm and causes restriction of the foreskin so that it cannot be retracted, making sex uncomfortable and desensitised, and making hygiene difficult.

I am much reassured by the various postings and now look forward to a much revived sex-life, as I'm sure does the missus.

Whatever the comparison to "before BXO", the result has to be better than the current situation!

Having said all that and in response to all the foreplay posts, I do find that giving my partner as much pleasure as possible prior to actual penetration (nice bit of alliteration) is a real turn-on - especially if I can make her orgasm at least once before the final selfish bit.

well, i'm all ready been done! but for other reasons had to have it done!

Tried the softening route - didn't work. At first it was just painfully tight when retracted but now there is a white ring which will not stretch to allow any retraction at all.

I do have some Jewish ancestry not too far back, but this has nothing to do with my decision.
