Maybe we could use the Reverse Michael Jackson treatment on him while we're at it !

And the Pepsi treatment! I can see him now brown, permed, and burnt.
Ever seen the film or read the book *Black Like Me*? I think it is crying out for a remake. Especially considering the current cross-cultural love of Hip-Hop and general 'Tude.

Read the book ages and ages ago (hope I'm thinking of the right one), I didn't realise a film had been made of it
But we wouldn't want that person to be a STAR !

Two separate thoughts. I would like them to be transformed into a *person of colour* overnight, but the film was another idea.
Come to think of it, perhaps just a genealogical search would do for him. I'm willing to bet he has more than one example of *Interacial Breeding* in his genes.

The film Black Like Me was made in 1962 (re-released on video in 1999). It starred James Whitmore.

So now PYT has turned into a version of 'he/she who shall not be named'. I'd quite like PYT to come back - I'm quite curious as to what sort of hair he/she has.
Toni perms, eh? I could have done that old tv ad 'au natural'. Here in Spain they call my sort of hair 'pelo frito' (fried hair!)
Okay, won't talk about my hair anymore.

"Plus, I have a big head making all hats too small and tight."
I have a similar problem. I have some hats I can't wear unless I have a crewcut, which makes it difficult when you have long hair mostly.

No hats for my big head and hair! They would sit atop my hair NOT my head
they searched my hair at the airport security!
Thank God they did not find anyone or anything in there!

hi Abbi,
You had your HAIR searched! When I read that I laughed out loud.
Although I have 'fried hair' it is so fine and wispy fuzzy-ish that I could never hide anything in it. Hence I tend to wear it gelled-back in a cute bun with wispy bits hanging down. That way I know it won't get up to any nonsense when I'm not looking. That hair of mine seems to have a life of its own. Rebel hair!
I also have the big head thing happening, so also cannot wear hats (so ironic, when a hat is usually what I need!) When I was younger I used to wear gypsy style scarves - a la little Stevie Van Zant - which I may consider doing again now that all this hippie-chic stuff is all the rage. Ya know, just for a change.

Hi guys -- just came back to catch up on the last few pages -- seems we have interracial pride well established and all loose ends tied up when the talk gets to bad hair experiences -- me, I'm glad it's stopped flopping in my eyes -- so long and thanks for all the enlightenment ~R
