That was a question that begs a smart answer!
My ex was Mohawk and Delaware. He always lamented that he inherited the Delaware "stubbiness" instead of the Mohawk lankiness. Sighhhhh, me too....
Almost all his male Mohawk cousins were tall and lean (all legs and no ass). He and the male Delaware cousins are short and stocky.

oh please let's not talk about MY HAIR! With the slightest bit of humidity I end up looking like I have a demented poodle sitting on the top of my head - one that has just stuck its paw into a light socket!
It's dark brown. Or should I say - deep chestnut? Not as dark as I'd like it to be, so I keep dying it darker and then it ends up going lighter anyhow.
I's not easy being me!!!

I have a wonderful picture in my head of you wearing an electrified poodle. Thank you so much.
Chestnut sounds nice.

hi Mudhooks,
Not sure what sort of body I inherited - not tall (5' 4") but quite well proportioned. Kinda big-boned. Big head, big face (major cheek-bone action happening). Green eyes. And stupid hair.
Skin tone pale as a ghost in winter (actually kinda green looking) and then in summer can get a gorgeous tan in about five minutes.
Total Canuck mutt?

I inherited the best of my father's hair, and the worst of my mother's...
Fine, but lots of it. The result is that it doesn't hold a curl and bobby-pins, hair-clips, and hairgrips slip right out. Compunding the problem is that my head appears to be a shape that seems to repell headscarves, hats, and headbands.
When I was a kid, nothing would keep my hair in order. Headbands would work their way up my skull and bounce right off, hats itched and my hair always ended up in my eyes.
My mother wouldn't let me cut my hair and would put this greasy stuff in to keep it in order. That resulted in my teacher thinking I never washed.....

Once I showed someone a picture of me as a kid - maybe nine years old. And they said - 'hey, that's a funny hat you're wearing!'
Nuff said!
seriously going to bed now - boy won't the morning people be annoyed at us! 'Dumbing down' the conversation in this impertinent manner!
sure wish I had Indian hair though . . .

Sorry about the IYP.
I made it up as my revenge for not knowing what AFTIM and the other one meant. I did parenthesise "If You Please" as a bit of a hint.

azahar,
About the conditioned fleeting thoughts ... We can't always help what pops into our heads, but it's by our actions that we will be judged and remembered. You know in your heart how you feel about other people and shouldn't let those thoughts bother you. You should be proud of how differently than your father you turned out.

A number of years ago, they had a TV commercial for Toni home Perms.... There was a home movie of a little girl with a "bad perm" crying and running from the camera. Basically, they were illustration how bad a home perm could turn out if you used anything but Toni.
I remember it so vivdly because when I was about 6, my mother did a Toni Home Perm on me with exactly the same results. In fact, I secretly wondered if it WAS me. The little girl looked just like me.
I have a terrific photo of me with the remains of the perm. My mother has the 8X10 hanging in her bedroom.....
Mind you, I am glad she kept that one rather than the one of me with the haircut that was the result of my mother cutting my hair using a mixing bowl as a guide.

Hi Mudhooks!
I had that perm too (It's hanging in my mother's family room.) I seem to also have your hair and head shape? I've always wanted to wear those pretty scarves and head bands (or use anything to keep my hair out of my eyes), but nothing worked. Although, I got the fineness from my father and the fullness from my mother. Plus, I have a big head making all hats too small and tight.
