All three, but mainly the third one, I think. How disappointed they must have been.

A bit of a point on both topics (in a very worryingly-titled thread): I'm the progeny of interracial breeding - I'm half-Chinese, half-English (I say half-Chinese, by which I mean partly Chinese, Portuguese, Malay and Japanese, and I say half-English, by which I mean a dollop of Irishness too). I also have straight black hair, and I seem to spend my entire life making it un-straight; I find curly-haired who straighten theirs highly amusing. smiley - biggrin

Plus I don't think I've been terribly damaged by my parents' decision to get it on: I'm at Oxford University studying English, I have very good bone density, and damn good legs. smiley - winkeye

hi Nerys,

Looks like PYT left the building . . . long ago.

I can only suppose the thread was started to create a response.

Has been quite good in some ways - has got a lot of people thinking about various things.

And yes of course, the human race is only one race. Quite ludicrous to think otherwise.

Gladly... gladly! smiley - biggrin

Only I think a properly curly-haired Chinese person would look highly weird. smiley - silly

well, never said anything about being 'properly curly haired'. I mostly look like a palefaced Canadian Irish Indian (father Irish, mother part Cree and part Scottish) who has stuck her finger into a light socket.

Trust me, you are better off as you are. smiley - smiley
