Where are our researchers from?

There's an area in Plymouth called Stoke. Full of the dregs of society.
But then, about 80% of the population of Plymouth is made up of these dregs.
Give me a ticket out of here fast, man.

I (sometimes, mostly, never, now; pick one) live in Rhode Island. Some FAQ about Rhode Island:
1. Yes, it is in the United States.
2. Yes, it is the smallest state in the country.
3. No, it is not a island.
4. No, it is not a part of New York.
5. Yes, you can get from anywhere in the state to anywhere else in the state in less than 45 minutes.
I (sometimes, mostly, never, now; pick another one ) live in Bangledesh. Bonus points to anyone who has heard of Bangledesh. Extra bonus points to anyone who knows where Bangledesh is.

Bangladesh is the small wet country near India, both of which are in S.Asia.
He he. So what if it was rhetorical. What does it say at the top of my homepage?

Hello new person Skeeve.
Something very odd is happening on my homepage. Any link that would normally take you to The Big NIMH Page now takes you to the h2g2 front page. Meaning that to take the Big NIMH Quiz or see my NIMH Memory you have to go to The Big NIMH Page via my 'best NIMH websites' page. Which means more clicking than should be neccesary!

Because we're fed up with only being ignored in favour of Birmingham so try to claim that there is a purpose to our being

I wonder if it still hold true that you can put the entire world population in Texas and still have room for three state parks the size of Rhode Island?
Who -hasn't- heard of Bangledesh? They made a song out of it!
A perfect segueway!
Craig Posted Jan 3, 2000
...as I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX (Gulf Coast), and now reside in lovely Austin, TX, our state capital. By the way, it sometimes seems that the entire world's population is moving to Austin in particular.

What's this song then? I've heard songs about Invaders and Children Of The Damned and Mandatory Suicide and Angels Of Death. But none and Bangladesh.

Here we go again...
As always, for those of us who listed multiple places, I chose the
current residence (assuming I could figure out which one that is),
unless the researcher emphatically specified some other city as
home. Skeeve, I counted you from Rhode Island 'cause you talked about
it more. If you'd like me to count you from Bangladesh instead just
let me know.
If you snuck a response into the conversation somewhere up
above and I missed it it's your own fault.
I've also updated the spiffy & pointless pie chart of these
results over on my home page. Come visit and see. As a bonus, you
can find out how to sign up for the strictly-unofficial H2G2
mailing list there as well.
