Hi,
Welcome to A Sense of Place! It's good to see you here.
Let me introduce myself, my name is Rocket Man. I am an Ace (which stands for Assistant Community Editor) and I'm part of the team who have volunteered to pop over and personally welcome new people to the site - we're here to help you in any way we can!
A Sense of Place is a living guide to Britain, and this site is concentrating on Northern Ireland. The people in the community here are building the guide with our own stories, reminiscences and personal histories. You can find out more about the Sense of Place Community on our <./>About</.> page. Read it and hopefully you'll be inspired!
If you'd like to contribute some of your own thoughts and ideas but are not sure where to start then you might like to read the <./>Contribute</.> page. You might find the writing guidelines helpful too; you can find them on the Writing-Guidelines page. If you want to add something to the guide, then just click on the 'Add an Entry' link in the left-hand bar at any time.
It can all seem a bit overwhelmingly large to start with, but if you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will do my best to help. You can contact me by hitting the reply button below or by visiting my space by clicking on my name above (this works for everyone all over the place). Just jump on in and explore - the people here are very friendly.
I look forward to hearing from you and to seeing you around the community.
Have fun exploring!

This could get dangerous - I nearly posted the entire contents of a letter sacking someone (Not where I work fortunately).

Hi people,
please grow up!
remember you can express your opinion and write articles here. millions of people can not express their ideas and they get imprissioned for it!
the BBC will soon see that they can not stop the progress, but them give them some time! the progress of most researchers goes mach 2, but at BBC they go as fast MiniCooper.
remember your freedom! use your energy positive!
WOW - greetings,
pheloxi
