i do actually have a kind of claim to fame (well, its not mine but i always steal it)
by best friends oldest sister (much much older) used to go out with Tony Robinson and ive met him a coupla times wen he was at their house

My nanans sister - in-law, used to live at the seaside and would run one of those market type stalls there, selling jars of jam. One day, Richard Gere was there and he bought a jar from her, the next day he came back, saying it was delicious and could he send him a jar every month (i don't know if she alternated flavours or anything) but she sent him some jam every month for a few years
