All of us have most embarrising moments throughout our life times. I've had far too many! Imagine walking up the stairs of a very large watering hole- There is a landing at the middle of the staircase, I walk into the wall and say "Excuse me ( in a truly /Canadian Fashion)_ Low and behold, I've just said exscuse me to myself. I walked into a Mirror!

I just WALK into things. I have an annoying balance problem, so my shoulder meets new fiends all the time.

I have an amazing ablilty to walk into things, drop things, and generally act in a way beccoming of the clumsyist person alive! Only yesterday I drop an entire portion of curry sauce down myself whilst i was shopping in town and to make matters worse I had to carry on shopping, (because the shops were due to shut for three days) looking like I'd been wading through sewage.

I have troubles eating without spilling food on myself, crossing the road too, and taking shopping with me, too.

An elephant story- Try explaining to one's kids why their Grandfather has an elephant's ear in his attic! Stange but true. When my parents and I left Uganda (I'm a naturalized Canadian) dad was presented with an elephant's ear, the stuffed tail of said elephant a Lion's skin and the spear which killed the lion. No dad isn't a missionary, he was an engineer in Kilembe near Kasese. Hence my daughter's name. My daughters don't give out the secret in the attic- I don't blame them.

I once read a letter to a women's magazine describing how a woman had gone on holiday and, to create the impression that she was still in, had pegged a few worthless rags on the line. She went on to say:
"Imagine my embarrassment when my neighbour told me upon my return that it had started to rain and she had brought my washing in".
I still can't see what's embarrassing about that. She only had to tell the neighbour of her little ruse to trick would-be burglars, or laugh with her. Some women have the most odd hang-ups.
