What's The Most Embarassing Thing That's Ever Happened To You

This was not entirely your fault, as the sight impaired person was not feeling/looking where he was going. Everyone makes a mistake sometime sighted or otherwise we all stumble. Had he been using his stick correctly he would have felt/seen your bag and asked you to move it.
It's the person not the disability you must deal with.

I agree - my first thought there was "that's not necessarily something to be embarrassed about". Of course, if you had your eyes shut and were singing along and jigging about to the music on your walkman, that would have been embarrassing. (Blind man or not!)

Now no one mentioned any singing and dancing in an ecstatic state to us. That's way out of line, leaving an obstacle in the path of one so afflicted was really careless.

hmm...
Now, am I supposed to feel guilty or not?
After all, he could have fallen in front of the train... causing someone to pull the emergency brake.... causing the train to crash... killing dozens of people... spreading fire around the station... etcetcetc...
P.S.: No singing and dancing. Please. Not in public.

Are you some kind of Creationist Fundamentalist Puritanical Sour Puss or something. Think you can oppress us with your dictates, what do you take us for, "Limp Brained Red Necks" from brainville. That's right restrict us from causing death and mayhem on the rail network. It's 's like you that thought up the name "Insignia", when there was nothing wrong with "Pat" in the first place.
