Why oh why doesn't Michael Gove put this thread on the national curriculum instead of all those uninspiring subversive UNBRITISH books like To Kill a Mockingbird and Of Mice and Men. We need to teach sarcasm now that the glorious coalition has made satire obsolete.

What about an anglicised edition of One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest? Perhaps Lord Archer, or some other great British writer could do a parliamentary version.

My goodness Tuc you must have second sight!!!! How did you know things were going to turn out as they have two years ago? mind you I have been surprised by the warmth and natural charm Theresa May has exuded since her elevation, she'd be my perfect Dinner Guest, so genuine.
