Old David would have been quite happy with the Pink ones, he didn't have any hang ups, he was quite happy to get into posh's underwear, but what red-blooded male wouldn't be?

You've got a good point there Ham ,obviously,I can't make any relevant comment ,on the jumping into her underwear, but I love her shoes

Was she ? Talking about clogs Ham ,me Mams brother, has been doing research into the family history ..apparently,not sure how many generations ago ,I wasn't paying much attention ( no change there then !) Our ancestors came over from some obscure country ,Europe somewhere ,never heard of the place ..anyway,the went to Manchester, and opened up a clog factory ...the point of the story being ..IF Victoria has ever worn clogs ,they could have been made by the hand of one of my ancestors .....infact,I keep on talking ,there is every possible chance ,I am related to Victoria ..so,I'll bid you a fond goodnight ,don't let the bedbugs bite ...sweet dreams Ham X ( PS then there's me Da's side of the family, from Newcastle you know ? We're too scared to even look on his side hahahahaha xxx)

The old sarcasm thread has gone a bit quiet, anyone might think it's not the wittiest and most stimulating thread on h2g2. Where are you my fishy friend? and Julzes, popped in and teased us with your coruscating banter and then departed, leaving us bereft, do join in everyone, it's free and it's fun!!!!!

Well free,at least ..if we discuss football Ham ( regional football, the N/East mainly) You watch them all come fluttering in ...just wait and see !

Ah yes, the beautiful game, hey I saw Maradona on telly this morning, he looks like a blow up version of himself, if that's what becoming a manager does for you, he'd have done better sticking to his self-destructive lifestyle!! And Argentina got stuffed again by Brazil.

Pinky Posted Sep 6, 2009
There's something about Maradona Ham,I don't know what it is ,there's just something ...talent perhaps ! I know we all should hate him ,the famous handball goal against us in that world cup ...but,I blame the ref ,he allowed it ! I'm pleased Brazil beat Argentina though ,you have to love Brazil.

Well, what about Sir Terry Wogan retiring from his morning show on Radio 2 then? I for one will miss his cheerful banter in the morning which I usually hear for about 10 seconds immediately before I dive for the button and change to Radio 4. I'm not sure Chris Evans will maintain the high standard though, I'm sure I'll get him turned off in 5 seconds!

End of an era Ham..and one less Irish accent on our radio ...how will we survive now ?

I love the Brogue myself, but Wogan is more rogue than Brogue in my opinion, I remember when he presented the Children in Need programme for 'only' £11'000 when everyone else was performing for free! We know where Sir Terry's charity begins!

Pinky Posted Sep 11, 2009
No the wonder he's retiring Ham ..I'm gonna start a charity.....Help Poor Florists... don't say it with flowers, say it with cash ...and a blooming good charity it will be too ......all donations ,see 'My Space' please !
