Sending someone to prison without trial is TOTALLY cool as long as they are suspected to have some involvement in terrorism. It's not like it undermines basic human rights and the entire judicial system or anything. Also, the water board torture thing they've got going on at Gunatanamo Bay is ok for the same reason.

As far as torture goes, water boarding is quite humane, doesn't leave any scar you see. Apparently the British Army have been using it too, it's that special relationship, makes you feel proud doesn't it?

I reckon anyone who banks in Iceland shouldn't be surprised if their assets are frozen! Do I win £5?

Talking about frozen assets, which I was four months ago, the snow in South Oxfordshire is just about upper thigh depth, depending on one's inside leg measurement of course, paradoxically I have this urge to brave the elements, I'm going outside now, I may be gone quite some time.............

Oh Czar, how you must have been missing me, good to know your cheerful presence still graces these pages, try writing something original one of these days, it's quite therapeutic.

"therapeutic". Did someone lend you a dictionary, or did they spell it out for you?
"missiny you". You must be joking.

I wouldn't joke with an intellectual heavyweight like you Czar, I know your mind is on higher things, the price of fish and things like that. But you're making typos in your eagerness to talk to me, I'm flattered honestly.

I have sacked my trypist, she is allways making spilling mistakes.
As regards "eagerness to talk to you", you know that you are so popular that people have to wait in a queue to talk to you. I was in the queue for almost a year.
Thanks for your appreciation of my intellect.

Gosh, you don't have to wait that long for a hip replacement these days, fancy that, I'm more popular than orthopaedic surgery! Well I am where my old piscene pal is concerned. I wonder what happened to the obscene one? haven't heard from him in ages, the old Sultan of Smut has disappeared into the Moroccan hinterland, probably reciting the dirty version of the Arabian Nights to some Harem somewhere......

But your Royal Presence makes up for any shortcomings, it's dificult to type on bended knees actually. I don't know, not the busiest thread but Princesses, Czars, we do get the quality!

No not much of anything over recent months, Mr Eagle, it's tough to keep the old sarcasm going when what is happening every day defies mockery. I mean the MP who spent £1600 on a house for ducks at our expense! Actually, he might have a soft spot for bald eagles and provide you with somewhere to roost! Mind you, you'll have to be quick as he's 'ducking out' at the next election, can't think why. Perhaps he shares his feathered friend's migratory instincts.
