Not just your usual spring cleaning here...
Lady Scott Posted Mar 23, 2003
That might work in the summertime when we have the air conditioners in the windows, but that's where we put the air conditioners in the wintertime... where would we put the air conditioners when it's too cold to have them in the windows?
And it would also require additional plumbing work - supply and waste pipes.
And additional electrical work so we'd have something to plug it into.
And could you think of a *more* inconvenient place to put a dishwasher?!? Normally, they're installed next to the kitchen sink, so you don't have to drag wet drippy dishes all over the place.

well I supsoe cost has to coem into it somewhere...so long as the work to dothe plumbing wasn;t exhorbiant.
And our dishwasher is in the next room from the kitchen. We have no problem.

But that's the point; when you have a dishwasher you put the dirty dishes directly into it until it's full; they never go near the sink.

Aw, come on, Hootoo, play fair! I clicked "Post" and it brought me back to a page without my posting. I refreshed twice and it didn't appear, so I went "Back" and posted again.

I adore mine!
It's curvier than the one in the link I posted... Looks a bit like the back end of a low-budget torpedo tube...

It's really not complicated... but would become *very* complicated if we tried to change anything!

My parents solved the dishwasher installation dilemma by having the entire kitchen refitted... it's now absolutely gorgeous and I seem to have acquired a very strange noise to alert me of new e-mail coming in...
