Below is the Guide ML code for your very own Thingite calendar to place on your user page. However, you will need to replace the code with a new set of code each month.
If anyone has suggestions for improvements, I'm all ears.

You're welcome.
I suspect there will be others who will enjoy having it on their page too - I put an announcement on 3N.

YAY! Thank you.
I'll pick a new and splendiferous color for the calendar each month, but feel free to change it to whatever you wish according to your own taste.
Here's a link to the color picker page:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/A623242
Simply replace the "#CC0033" red I used above with the color number of your choice. Don't forget to keep it in quotation marks, or it won't work.

*Official Warlordly Stamp of Approval*
Could a promotion within the Thingite ranks for AW be in order?

Thank you, my Magnificent Warlord ... I am honored.
There has been some discussion about the previous code not looking right in Brunel, or Alabadster. So, what follows is a revised code that will look equally obnoxious in all skins.

I've updated the code on my page, and hopefully, it won't be burning out anyone's retinas, no matter what skin they use.

Yay!
Go to my page for a few ideas on how you can tweak the calendar to your own taste. This is turning out to be a pretty darn useful gadget.

Whatever happened to the proposed new names for the months? Were any approved? Can anyone remember them? I don't think I was ever subscribed to that conversation - but I reckon that reopening the topic may be a good idea.

Try the 'Ruby Wimpy' thread, if you can find it.
Personally, I think a good name would be something like ooh... 'Parrferris'...

I agree! We should name the months after our most senior and illustrious Thingites. After all, the Romans did it with their people, so fair is fair.
Here's the "Ruby Wimpy" thread. I'll let you duke it out with the populace, Parrfie.

Sheatember and Ostrichtober are good for starters.
I wish to convey my thanks for the use of Shea's banner at the top of the calendar. She deserves all the credit for it. I pinched the linkablity factor from Clive's space.
