Hello and welcome to the Underpass, the unofficial second chamber of the Thingite regime.
Here is the forum for soap boxes and for throwing fruit at people, especailly ones standing on soap-boxes.

But don't throw too hard, it's your turn to speak next!

Don't look at me, I'm just the Speaker...

Are there any more spare rubble to balance on? Seems like a setting for cider drinking, slurp..

I think you call it 'Real Cider' in the States... lovely lethal stuff, the nectar of the Westcountry!

The Collapsed Ruins of the Strand Underpass

Post 16

Shea the Sarcastic

I don't call anything "Real Cider" ... the only cider I know is apple ... smiley - erm

The Collapsed Ruins of the Strand Underpass

Post 17

parrferris

That's what it is, but the traditional sort, not the clear fizzy mass-produced stuff.

I *LOVE* real cider! We have a cider mill in Jericho that makes the most wonderful cider! It's not alcoholic, though ...

The Collapsed Ruins of the Strand Underpass

Post 19

parrferris

Hmmm... Non-alcoholic? Where's the fun in that?
Ours is *very* alcoholic and ranges from the all-too-drinkable to the throat-strippingly-rough. Personally I love them all. I often drink one at my local which is made by the Heron Valley press (basically a bloke called Steve) and which is called 'Shag'. Like the seabird. Honest. You can imagine the fun of ordering it...

So when I come visit jolly old London this summer, I should try some real cider?
