I've tried that* but it doesn't work. I eat a muffin a day but no weight gets added. I know that posting this will make me hated by many, many researchers. But that's my mentalabolism**
*not foot, cannibalism is deemed illegal in a lot of countries.

This could easily be misunderstood.
Yeah, I also can't put on any weight. Annoying. I saw a teen mag the other day with a few pictures on the front of Beyonce, that woman from Black Eyed peas and some others. And the headline was "We love our curves, why skinny is so out." which I suppose is a good thing. Though they probably tell you the opposite the week after.

what's incredibly sad is that "curvy" for them is having to squeeze into a size 6. The celebrity norm is size one or zero. They are still tiny girls. I just saw that Black-eyed Peas girl in Rolling Stone, and there is no way I'd ever say she wasn't skinny. She is. And Beyonce may have a big butt, but that's relative to the rest of her body.
I'll never forget the first time I saw a real model in the Beverly Center(a multi-story shopping mall) in Hollywood. I looked at her, all skin and bones, and I knew in my gut that I had never really seen a model until that moment. I had seen a lot of skinny, firm, small girls, but nothing like this graceful, sunken, wasted beauty. When they take pictures, it looks different. Unless they want to showcase the skinniness, like when mags want to trash a starlet for incredible "unhealthy" weightloss. Whatever.

The numbers of sizes doesn't say me anything. But yes, I'm not so sure that girl from BEP is curvy either. They say the camera adds ten pounds, so it does make you wonder when someone looks skinny on a picture how skinny they really must be.

Madonna was sexier with curves.
Marilyn Monroe was sexier with curves.
Ditto Kate Winslet, Rene Zellwegger.
Sandra Bullock in Demolition Man (nice bum!)
The poster referring to "That girl from the Black Eyed Peas" I assume is referring to Fergie? She has quite naturally given curves, more rump and hip based curves as opposed to busom.
The painter Rubens had the right idea. Woman do not need to starve themselves to look sexy. Can they please stop it, it's actually quite upsetting to lot's of men.

Slight tangent here - conversation with my 12 year old daughter at the weekend:
Her: "Did you know that Rene Zellewgger was paid a million pounds to eat junk food!"
Me: "Well, I think what you mean is she was paid that money to appear in a film which required her to be a bit plumper, which she achieved by eating large quantities of junk food. She then had to diet to get it all off again, though!"
Her: "Exactly! She was paid a million pounds to eat junk food!"
Me: "now, you're twisting the truth there! That's exactly the sort of thing that journalists...erm.....hang on a minute.....what did you say you wanted to be when you grow up? Carry on!"

So in those last almost 700 posts, have we had any men at all saying they preferred skinny?

We should invite some gay guy here and hear what he has to say.

I just looked at some pictures of Fergie, which wasn't easy as something kept popping up. Advertisements of course. I probably would put her somewhere between curvy and skinny. Certainly the waist to hip ratio seems fairly 1/1 which you wouldn't expect in a curvy person. And fairly skinny arms, and a flat stomach.

It seemed in recent posts you wanted a man to say he prefered skinny girls?
Well i quite prefer a lot skinny curvey girls. I mean, i don't like it anorexic like. But a girl above 1,70 tall and "elf" like body ( i mean as a sexy skinny curvey line- it's quite difficult to define a woman's line, you know) quite takes my eye, even more if i take it to know her and she's interesting.

Maybe they've all found themselves a curvy lady already?
