So have you guys seen those new pictures of Jennifer Aniston? There's one where she is sitting with the side to the camera, wearing just some cut off jeans. And to be honest, she would have looked a lot better in that picture if she had a bit of stomach.

I saw (bought) Heat magazine today. The cover was soemthing about being proud of your curves.
I have no curves. Where's the "Be proud of your drain-pipe-ness" magazine?

I'm guessing that's what they will say in next weeks edition.

We should all be proud of whatever we have but I get a bit sick of being told (by the media) that, to be desirable, I have to look like a stick insect and develop anorexia
A good friend of mine is naturally skinny and no matter what she eats she can't put on weight. That's fine because that's her natural body metabolism. What isn't fine is promoting a body image that makes the majority of women feel inferior because they haven't got the 'perfect' body.....myself included

I'm currently listening to Brian Kennedy singing "Get on with your short life"
Which has got some great lines like
"Do you have to waste time, on your waistline"
and
"Does it really matter if you're fatter"
Download it. Now.
And while you're at it, find the version of "Raise me up" that he sang live at Best's funeral. And I dare you not to cry.

It seems at the Madrid Fashion Week they have been banned from using models that are too skinny. They look at their BMI, and use that to decide if they are too skinny. The fashion designers and modelling agencies don't seem to be happy about it.

If all the designers et al are worried, it speaks of a biiiig problem.
But yeah. All for it, myself. A shame for all the poor girls who have starved themselves to get the job and now are unable to work.

Last night's news quiz. Fred Macaulay observed that he wasn't interested in Kate Moss. Far too skinny...
"but if you strapped her to a fat lass..."

Maybe there is an idea for the designers in Madrid there. They could strap two skinny models together, and then use them like that. Although catwalking in that way would be tricky.

GIRLS!
Some of us DON'T want stick insects.
We like a little something to hug and cuddle
A nice curvy bum, a decent pair of busoms, and actual waistline.
and don't worry if big boobs mean big bras or that big bums ,eam big knickers. these days some of those are made quite sexy as well.
it's not the undies it's the lady that fills them

People at work think I'm strange because I have a thing about Kirsty Allsop (as seen on Channel 4's Location Location series). I think she has a smashing figure - nice and curvy. Keep your anorexic stick insects. Give me a woman with a figure I can grab hold of!
My wife is a size , which probably equates to slightly more than 2 Kate Mosses, and I think she's gorgeous. Yes, she's insecure, and hates her figure despite what I keep telling her, and this is down to the media. Still, I think she looks great!
Curves! Gimme curves!!

Without the shadow of a doubt: Curves.
You can't make the honka honka noise with a stick insect can you?

You know, I thought I was the only one who did that. I quite like the "beep beep" bits, although the "parp parp" is reserved for Birthdays and Anniversaries only!

Ah, come on now. The ladies love a honka honka, it loses a lot by writing it down. If any girls want to find out just how fun the honka honka can be just let me know.

The Rocking Monk - a beard with an idiot hanging off it Posted Sep 25, 2006
I too have a thing for Kirstie Allsop...
I've been out with young ladies of all shapes and sizes and one thing I've realised over the years is the fact that I don't like skinny girls.
Key: Complain about this post
