I note that policemen now retire at 55 and am concerned
that even that is older than I would like my policemen
to be when they come to save me from rowdy youths.

I also suspect prison guards over 50 do not fair well
when rolling around with youthful crims.

And the teachers who have to do the same thing. My upper body is a giant bruise today after helping to break-up a mass brawl in work yesterday. A 60 year-old colleague was floored by one of the little darlings.
