The worst part is when people don't even know what the definition of the original word is.
One time, in middle school, we were watching this movie on the Holocaust,
and it had interveiws from people who were really there. The people on the video were talking about the ghettos and some of the class was giggling.
It made me so enraged. Now "ghetto" doesn't even have to refer to a place anymore. It's used as an adjective!

Its horrible but what can you do? Only languages like Latin remain the same.

And that's only because its become so pointless.

Exactly. Its primary use is for scientific naming primarily because it doesn't change because its unused.
