*Affy runs into the system, trying to catch up with everyone else. He manages to run right into GL. After picking himself up off the ground, he blinks a few times*

*Pulls out a piece of jewelry that looks like a crocodile head with jewels encrusted in it*

An authentic Ahkmut Container! I'm assuming that this was brought by a trader, or something. Of course, I'm going to come back here when we finish so that I can do some research, just in case.

*having readjusted the torch beam to anti dazzle, continues along the tunnel*

*the thought of kettle on to brew spurring her on*

*The red wagon suddenly falls down the hole, turning upside down on the ground and spilling the contents *

Um, watch out berlow! Tha's a slippry wagon. But I's caught the Bunny, so she's OK.

*The reverend comes down the ladder and holds up Carmel by her left foot*

Whar do yer want her?

*Slips off the ladder about half way down when startled by the sound of the wagon crashing. She hears a crunching sound as she hits the ground and hopes that it isn't the sound a pug makes when squished.*

That hurts!

[Zero arms his Z-Saber, casting an eerie green light on ... everyone!]

[Zero] Hmm ... everyone who's anyone seems to be here ... and even some who aren't, anymore.

Oh, and Affy? You're wanted at the CLI thread "Roll has arrived." Nothing to do with this, but this is the only thread you've posted in recently that I know of and that I'm at right now at this very moment.

Carmel (speaking with very forced sweetness) I should very much like to be set down, if that's not too much trouble, please.

*she begins to mutter under her breath, something she NEVER does (except when speaking about Mac, her writing partner)* Two flesh and blood dogs go plumetting into the void, no thanks to Butterfingers here, and the dimwit catches the Soft Toy! As if it weren't patently obvious that I'm all padding and I have no trouble with blunt trauma....oooooooooooooh, I sense a terrible snit coming on and I I shall be a long time getting over it.....
*she notices something on the ladder*
My, that's going to take a lot of Duct Tape to fix.

*a sort way down the ladder the two pugs dangle, their front legs drapped over a rung. They are still harnessed to the wagon handle which - cracked way back when they collided with the cactus - has finally broken off. The pugs are frozen with fright, barely daring to bark*

Ruppy - Mroof? Mroof?! (Little Help? Little Help?!)

*terminally startled by the suden noises of crashing and thumpung, loses grip on ladder... mostly, and ends up dangling by one hand.

After much flailing and grabbing manages to hook herself back on again, more by luck than design, and clings, shaking to the rungs.

Begins to descend again... slowly, which is how she avoids tredding on the pugs*

Oh my, you poor little things. Hang on, I'll save you!

*After a few abortive attempts to reach down past her feet while holding ver tight to thge ladder, decides that climbing down past the pugs very carefully, would be best...*

Hang on... right... ok... oops a daisy... yup, there we are... ok... GOTCHA

*the two little dogs are now residing mostly in Sol's carpet bag, which is strapped to her back.

Sol makes it down the rest of the ladder without incident*

Well, that was a blast.

*still hiding in the tunnel, Amy continues to try to reason with BeeBee on the matter of keeping quiet*

Ther seems to be quite a commotion going on up ahead, from previous experience, I would say its more likely to be friendly than not.

I do hope so

*readjusts torch beam to full*

Oh sorry, Zero! You had better go carefully then!

I could have sworn I heard Affy's voice.

Hey, watch out there! You nearly dropped that on me and Titania! T, are you OK? And you're making enough noise to warn anyone down here that we're coming, when the whole idea is to sneak up on them. Maybe we really should leave you behind.

*Munchkin walks back to where he believes the noises at the rear came from. He ha a quick look round but sees nothing so retyrns to the main group, passing within two feet of Amy and the pug without noticing.*

[Zero approaches the beladdered posse members]

*Sees Sol has both pugs, gets up off the floor of the cave.*

I'm okay, I think.

I wonder what that was I sat on.

*Looks behind her sees a flat bag of crisps/chips.*

Thank goodness that's all it is.

*jumps*

Who said that? Who said what? Does *anyone* here have *some* kind of light, please?

Now how can I tell that the posse has arrived in full? Or is this not everybody? * new arrivals*

I don't know whether we're sneaking up on anybody any more. The only thing I'm stalking now is a cup of tea and a change of clothing! There was a sympathetic jello who loaned me one of her nightgowns and washed my clothes, but I'm very much the worse for wear, sartorially.

Hmm, I wonder whatever became of Floradora after I left? She helped me escape, you know.

Oh - hi Lil - nice to see you again! So you're free again, huh?
