[OOC]I'll just assume that it's alright, if not then I missed it in observations

*All the casks in the cargo hold seem to be well secured. There is some smell of alcohol in the air, though, but it is not particularly strong. It might be a good idea to leave the hatches open.*

*Enters from Mess. Exits to Captain's Cabin*

*Enters again. Looks around*

Who's there? Hello? Hmmm,....

"Doors, windows, hatches of this hold
Lock now for my reasons untold
Let none escape this place from me,
For I alone hold the one key."

*Gillings watches the doors lock*

There's no where to hide! Come out!

"Floor is sticky, as is tar,
Gravity quite like a star,
Have people stick, unable to move
Except for me, cause....um, cause I got the groove?"

*Almost hears laughter*

Hey, they can't all be gems, can they? Now, lemme think about this,....hmmmm,....

"Floor above me, show me that
place occupied by all, Captain through Cat.
To track their movements, and locations too
But don't let them so me, for that just won't do."

*All of the above spells work, and the hatches slam and lock. The floor becomes very sticky and above Gillings head, small white lights appear at the locations where people are above. If looked at closely, hazy faces can be seen in the white lights corresponding to who the light represents.*

~ The cargo hold becomes pleasantly scented. ~

*Gillings examines the faces, and comes to a quick realization about what he can do*

"Sarah and Lizzie Briggs, come down;
The floor is liquid, but you won't drown
Fall into the Cargo Lair,
So the Soulstone we may share."

"Once down, boards above reform,
Become strong wood, not water born
Repair yourself and be thrice strong
Let none others after enter, due to this song."

"Heirs of the White priestess line, now glow
For just a moment, no longer though,
So I may know just what is what
When you enter my sight, and who's begot."

*The floor below where Sarah and Lizzie are turns to a liquid consistency and they drop down into the cargo hold. Unfortunately, since Sarah is sitting on the bunk, with the captain beside her, the Captain also falls through the floor. Also, since Lizzie is holding the cat, the cat also arrives below.

Once down, they all stick to the floor and can't move from where they land. Sarah briefly glows, but no one else does. The deck above their heads resumes its normal solidity.*

Greetings, Captain Briggs, Mrs. Briggs, little Lizzie Briggs, The Nameless One, and, unless I'm very much mistaken, the spirit of Captain McLellan. Thank you all for accepting my invitation to meet me here at this time, although I had expected fewer of you to show up. Now, I know this is a very, um, awkward way of handling the situation, but, well, drastic times call for drastic measures, I'm afraid.

Sarah, I do not wish to employ force, so I will ask you to do this nicely. Please give me the Soulstone.

Just imagine it: if our earlier discussions ring true, the Soulstone could be the answer to all problems on this planet. That much energy without giving off heat! Do you realize? A near-infinite amount of energy contained in such a small sphere! It isn't as if the world will have perpetual gunpowder to use, and electricity and steam can only go so far. If put under the proper study, scientists could uncover a form of energy that could revolutionize the world as we know it!

And while I'm thinking about it,....

"To seekers from the outsider world,
Who need just a kindly word,
When shouted in is inquery,
The only response is fine by me."

"Spirit of this vessel's first master,
Please do not leave this room
For now imprisoned in this cargo hold,
Please listen to my tune."

"Soulstone, Soulstone, burning bright
To the guardian, just this night,
Grow ever warmer 'till she might
Aid me in my humble plight."

*growls at Gillings* You fiend! You know not what matters you involve yourself in! If you continue on this path you shall kill us all!

*tries to rise, but is unable. thinks for a moment, then says*

Good wood and true
Release us if you please
Hold instead the one
Whose ill intentions brought us here.

Sweet ship, home of ours
Do not so impede
Those who do love you
Rather set us free.

Sister of my heart,
Mentor and teacher
Heed now my call
And come to our aid.

*tries again to rise*

*This time, Sarah can rise. Her spell worked.*

*stand and gestures that the rest of her family should do the same. walks slowly towards Gillings, eyes on his again and a sneer on her face. it is an expression which no one in the hold has ever seen on her face before, so it is somewhat shocking to all*

What is the meaning of this, Mr Gillings? What game are you playing at? Do you think for even one second that you could control the SoulStone even if I were to give it to you? You wouldn't last one hour with it!

*comes to a halt just out of arms reach, the snarl still evident on her face*

And what would one like you do with the SoulStone, anyway? DOubtless you'd sell it to that wretch Lorenzen. Or is he in on this too? Is that why he was asking after it earlier?

*The soulstone is getting unbearably hot, due to the spell cast by Gillings. Also, the ghost is trapped in hold now.*

*The soulstone starts to cool.*

Sell the Soulstone? No, not unless a museum was the buyer. And no, Lorenzen is not in on this. This is a matter between you and me, I'm afraid.
